Caroline Weber-Fischer is an abstract artist living and painting in Schwyz Switzerland. She grew up in an artistic family and has a life-long love for arts. After graduating in marketing/communications, she worked in this field for several years. Caroline always painted on the side. Since several years she devoted herself fully to art and enjoys her own art studio.
Her intention is to capture moments of transience. The potential for renewal lies in transience and change. She draw inspiration from the Swiss Alps nature and its phenomena. Caroline Weber is inspired by the colorfield artists Helen Frankenthaler and Morris Louis.
Her art is based on abstraction. Weber plays with pictorial depth by building up veil-like layers of colour that coalesce into amorphous forms. Soft washes with wispy, feathery edges are paired alongside round and oblong forms, some of which have been dripped and splattered with a lively immediacy, while others have been gently pooled, displaying a rounded and meandering edge.
Weber grew up in an artistic family, has got a degree in Business Administration as well as in Marketing & Communication from the University of Applied Sience & Arts Lucerne Switzerland. She graduated practical painting studies (Gerhard Almbauer lecturer at the Vienna Art Academy). In 2020 she completed a Coursera course at MoMA, Modern Art Museum, New York, topic: Modern Art & Ideas (modern and contemporary art). Weber has devoted herself fully to art and enjoys her own art studio.
Her work has been published in magazines, newspapers and catalogues. She corporates with international brands like Bombay Sapphire Gin or Visa Cornercard and is a semi-final winner of Artbox Project Barcelona 1.0.
In 2021 she got the Certificate of Merit, Luxembourg Art Prize, organized by the Pinacothèque, a private museum located in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Another work can be found in a private museum near Athen in Greece. In her region she is a star. She participate in solo and group exhibitions. Her work can be found in corporate premises as well as in private collections all over the world.
