Caroline Weber (1974) is a visual artist. She lives and works in Schwyz in Switzerland.
Her art is based on abstraction. Weber plays with pictorial depth by building up veil-like layers of colour that coalesce into amorphous forms. Soft washes with wispy, feathery edges are paired alongside round and oblong forms, some of which have been dripped and splattered with a lively immediacy, while others have been gently pooled, displaying a rounded and meandering edge.
Weber grew up in an artistic family, has got a degree in Business Administration as well as in Marketing & Communication from the University of Applied Sience & Arts Lucerne Switzerland. She graduated practical painting studies (Gerhard Almbauer lecturer at the Vienna Art Academy). In 2020 she completed a Coursera course at MoMA, Modern Art Museum, New York, topic: Modern Art & Ideas (modern and contemporary art). Weber has devoted herself fully to art and enjoys her own art studio.
Her work has been published in magazines, newspapers and catalogues. She corporates with international brands like Bombay Sapphire Gin or Visa Cornercard and is a semi-final winner of Artbox Project Barcelona 1.0.
